UK: Labour candidate Corbyn supports antisemitic vicar

I was accused of running a witch-hunt against Jeremy Corbyn.  Since he can't possibly be an antisemite, and I'm confusing between Israel and Jews.

Apparently, two articles from the British press is officially a 'witch hunt', and wanting to destroy Israel and its 6 million Jews has nothing to do with antisemitism.

In any case, starting today I will focus on Corbyn's antisemitism.

Via the Daily Mail:

Jeremy Corbyn, the Labour leadership candidate, wrote a letter of support for a vicar who was banned from social media after suggesting that Israel was responsible for the 9/11 attack on the twin towers.

The Reverend Stephen Sizer used his internet accounts to spread ideas which were ‘clearly anti-Semitic’, the Church of England said. He was banned by Church authorities for six months in February.

Corbyn argued that Sizer was 'under attack' by a pro-Israeli smear campaign.

(...)

Corbyn wrote to the Church authorities at the time, suggesting that Sizer had been victimised because he had 'dared to speak out against Zionism'.

'Reverend Stephen Sizer seems to have come under attack by certain individuals intent on discrediting the excellent work that Stephen does in highlighting the injustices of the Palestinian Israeli situation,' Corbyn wrote.

He also blamed Sizer's actions on the vicissitudes of the internet.   (more)
Before people start defending Sizer in order to defend Corbyn, let's take a look at Sizer's opinions.  On his Faebook page he shared Holocaust-denial and 9/11 conspiracy theories blaming Israel.  He attended an Iranian anti-Zionist conference (but only to present the Christian view of reconciliation, of course!).  He believes Israel was established only because Jewish bankers run world economy.  In fact, Jewish bankers financed both sides of World War II (draw your own conclusions what this means for blaming the Jews for the Holocaust).

Sizer and Corbyn both agree that Sizer is being 'hounded' by the Zionists.   Therefore, I can only assume that Corbyn also thinks that focusing on issues such as Israeli involvement in 9/11 has nothing to do with antisemitism.
